Mojang Vs Bethesda

So yesteraday, Notch got an e-mail from Bethesda Software, the company and produces the Elder Scrolls series. Apparently Notch's new game Scrolls sounds a bit too much like Elder Scrolls to Bethesda. Notch has agreed to Bethesda Terms, and to NOT put a word in front of Scrolls. So no Energy Scrolls or Red Scrolls or other weird names like that.

Just Scrolls.

But don't fear, Notch fans! The name of the game will not stop us from enjoying yet another creation from the man that brought us the thing that this blog is all about!

Swedish living.

Just kidding...Minecraft...

Its been a while..

So, its been a little bit since we've posted...But do not fear! Inter_Vention and I will be returning shortly with your Minecraft news, necessities, and more!

ZombieCraft 2.0

Who doesn't love the traditional, zombie-slaying mayhem trademarked to Call Of Duty: World At War?
And who can deny that Minecraft's 8-Bit beauty owns all?
Well, then you'll love ZombieCraft!
ZombieCraft mashes real Zombies into Minecraft. 'Borrowing' perks, the infamous Mystery Box, and 'HellSheep', ZombieCraft is sure to be a fun ride.
Three Maps are currently available: Last Resort, Nacht Der Untoten, and Observation Deck (DLC).
The classic Revive

Barriers are also included

Zombie break-ins are nothing to be spooked about.

Zombies have been given a new face texture to increase
the crap-in-your-pants factor.

Rebuild those barriers.

You can also buy guns off the walls.

Having the high ground can be an advantage.

You can even clear barriers.

Juggernog!

The famous mystery box offers me a board with a nail in it.

Nacht Der Untoten- A blast from the past.

The nostalgia.

In that other room

APPARENTLY they can get you through the doors.

Pyro's Adventures in Minecraft

Hello, Everyone!
I'm starting my full-fledged adventure in Minecraft!
So, Pictures of my base, house, and other delicious stuff are coming in later, since Blogger is giving me a little bit of trouble. But for now, the story.

So, I wake up on a beach. Pretty cool. I look around, and I can see the woods nearby. I don't like building on sand, So I go adventuring a bit. I look around, and I find a perfect little corner of an island that is flat, grassy, and looks perfect for a small cottage. I take it was my own.
I make it out of wood, it took about a stack or more a wood, but it came out pretty cozy. I have a room for the entrance of my mine, and a seperate room for my dogs, Pyro Jr (PJ), Megaman, and Artemis. Don't ask how I tell the difference.
Afterwards, I begin digging. I come down to the 10th layer of Minecraft. I look at the stone wall.
"I'ma strip mine in this direction, look for diamond. Might take a while, but let's do it"
I break a block.
Instantly found Diamond ore.
This is gonna be good.

Achievements in Minecraft?

It has been hinted that achievements may be a possible addition to Minecraft in the following weeks. I think this would be a great addition as it would be some awesome things to do once you have your mega-empire and are running out of stuff to do.

So, what do you think some actions could be made into achievements?

Minecraft Soundtrack Sheet Music

We all love the random soundtracks Minecraft provides us with. So, if you play piano, why not bring the awesomeness to life? Here's the sheet music of Piano2, renamed 'Wet Hands', courtesy of noteflight.com.

Minecraft Memes

We all love Advice Dog. During times of great trouble, Advice Dog can point you to the right path. Thankfully, memegenerator.net has created a minecraft version of this god! No more will you not know whether to jump off a mountain or make your way safely down! Here's a couple of examples:

Single Player Commands

You've been in SMP server with mods, right? Able to, at the tapping of a few keys or even a press of a hotkey, can magically conjure an infinite amount of blocks? Well, this mod is those commands on steroids. I mean, just look at all those commands! I suggest this mod for un-legit minecraft players, SSP players who are just making a big project without the hassle of gathering large amount of meterials, or if you've struck diamond and your pick has just happened to break.
